ORION
Sosei Gushiken first founded the brewery on May 18, 1957, and it started its activities in order to increase production after the war. Citizens were asked to suggest names, and 2500 people came up with 823 names.
The name Orion was ultimately chosen, which means dreams and delights. Today, Orion Brewery is the fifth largest brewery in Japan and single-handedly supplies 60% of Okinawa Prefecture’s beer consumption. The beer recipe was reworked in 2015 to make it more refreshing and fresher.

ORION DRAFT BEER offers a mild taste and crisp aftertaste developed in the semitropical climate. It is invigorating and yet has a rich body that only beer can offer. It goes well with any dish, not to mention Okinawan cuisine, bringing out the best of each dish and stimulating appetite.

The History of Tequila
The Aztecs first used the agave plant to make a drink called pulque. This drink was made by fermenting the sap of the agave plant, and it was used for religious and ceremonial purposes. When the Spanish conquistadors arrived in Mexico, they began to make their own version of pulque, which they called mezcal. Mezcal was made with the same agave sap, but it was distilled, and it quickly became popular among the Spanish settlers.
Tequila was first produced in the 16th century in the town of Tequila, which is located in the state of Jalisco. The first tequila distillery was built by the Marquis of Altamira. Tequila was originally made with a type of agave known as Blue Weber Agave (agave azul). This variety of agave is still used to make tequila today.
How is Tequila Crafted
Tequila is a distilled beverage made from the blue agave plant. The drink is typically composed of 40% – 60% alcohol by volume (80 – 120 proof) and is made in Mexico. Tequila is made from the heart of the agave plant, which is called the piña.
The piña is roasted above-ground in an oven and then shredded or grounded into a pulp. Then, the pulp is mixed with water and yeast and fermented in large vats for two to three weeks. After fermentation, the mixture is distilled two or three times to produce the final product.

Every Thursday, TASTING EXPERIENCE internal events are held inside the Sour liquor shop. Experienced and famous foreign and domestic bartenders come to introduce the history of weekly selected products, teach various cocktails, and hold tasting courses. Each week, unique and different products are presented through Tasting experience events, so customers are very interested and excited to participate in the next event.
The main purpose of the TASTING EXPERIENCE event is to smell the aroma, taste the palate of selected products, experience them with all the human senses, and introduce a method of consumption that is compatible with the drinking experience of consumers.
In this week of the TASTING EXPERIENCE series, the most famous American Kentucky Straight Bourbon: Woodford Reserve brand was introduced by Wallstreet Restaurant & Lounge Bar manager Dulguun Battulga (Duku) who suggested the easy cocktail-making method, and the tasting course was successfully organized.
The TASTING EXPERIENCE is an open and free series of events held every Thursday at the Sour liquor shop.
Flor de Caña | Sustainable Cocktail Challenge 2024
The champion of Mongolia.
The Domestic Championship of the International Bartender Competition, the Sustainable Cocktail Challenge, organized by MSM Betastar LLC in collaboration with the Flor de Caña brand, was successfully held yesterday. The competition promotes eco-friendly ingredients and methods to create unique and exceptional cocktails.
The 10 declared participants competed in the “Domestic Championship” held on September 12, 2024. The winner earned the title of Mongolian Champion, Most Sustainable Bartender for their distinctive cocktails and secured the right to represent Mongolia at the Asian Regional Championship, which will be held in the People’s Republic of China in October 2024.

The transaction took effect after approval by the Mongolian authorities. LCA Solutions, a Hong Kong regulated Multi Family Office, acted as financial advisor to the Founders of MSM. Wschong & Co in Hong Kong, Mishcon de Reya in London and Melville Erdenedalai in Ulaanbaatar acted as legal advisors for the different Founders while Herbert Smith Freehills in Hong Kong acted for Mongolian Opportunities Fund.
