VOLCAN DE MI TIERRA

The History of Tequila
The Aztecs first used the agave plant to make a drink called pulque. This drink was made by fermenting the sap of the agave plant, and it was used for religious and ceremonial purposes. When the Spanish conquistadors arrived in Mexico, they began to make their own version of pulque, which they called mezcal. Mezcal was made with the same agave sap, but it was distilled, and it quickly became popular among the Spanish settlers.

Tequila was first produced in the 16th century in the town of Tequila, which is located in the state of Jalisco. The first tequila distillery was built by the Marquis of Altamira. Tequila was originally made with a type of agave known as Blue Weber Agave (agave azul). This variety of agave is still used to make tequila today.

How is Tequila Crafted

Tequila is a distilled beverage made from the blue agave plant. The drink is typically composed of 40% – 60% alcohol by volume (80 – 120 proof) and is made in Mexico. Tequila is made from the heart of the agave plant, which is called the piña.

The piña is roasted above-ground in an oven and then shredded or grounded into a pulp. Then, the pulp is mixed with water and yeast and fermented in large vats for two to three weeks. After fermentation, the mixture is distilled two or three times to produce the final product.

7 TIPS IN CHOOSING THE RIGHT CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT

  1. SIZE AND TYPE

Before you head over to the nearest machinery supplier, you should first consider the size and scope of your project. Construction Machinery like excavators, backhoes and loaders are perfect for accomplishing big tasks. Modern machines also come in different sizes so you can get the same results that you need even when working on tight spaces.

2. VERSATILITY AND ADAPTABILITY

Choose machines that offer more than one function. Inter-convertible machineries are your best bet so you can use it for multiple types of jobs whenever possible.

3. COUNTRY OF ORIGIN AND AVAILABILITY OF PARTS

The origin of the equipment plays an important role when it comes to sourcing replacing parts for your unit. Some brands from overseas take a longer time to ship replacement parts that might push your deadlines far behind.

4. SERVICING AND AVAILABILITY OF SPECIALISTS

While older models come at a lower price than new ones, the availability of specialists to repair them might come as a challenge in the future.

5. SUITABILITY TO LOCAL OPERATIONS

Special equipment may perform better than your previous models but imagine how troublesome it would be if the machine is difficult to use? Try to find construction equipment that can be used easily by your local operators.

6. EXPERTISE IN HANDLING

In choosing equipment, stick to the ones that are already familiar to handle. But if that is not the case for you to hire a professional who can help your team operate it to ensure that you can maximize its features and prevent possible accidents.

7. USER EXPERIENCE

Construction machines are made to ease the hard work of operators, not add to them. Consider equipment that is easy and comfortable to use so operators can accomplish more using them.

If you’re still not sure what construction equipment will work best for your needs, MSM Industrial is your one-stop-shop heavy equipment dealer. We have SANY brand’s wide range of construction machinery, parts & services and offers used machines at a lower price. For more information call 7718-1111.

Jeep Trail-Rated | A symbol of adventure

The Jeep Trail-Rated badge is a symbol of safety and adventure. It’s given to Jeep models that pass a series of rigorous tests to ensure rugged, off-road capability. Trail-Rated Jeeps are guaranteed to withstand the toughest terrains and harshest weather conditions, making sure that your Jeep really can “Go anywhere. Do Anything.”

The Trail Rating process tests Jeep models undergoing a grueling vetting process to ensure they can ford streams, climb boulders, and avoid those unexpected obstacles you might find on the trail. They also test for maneuverability and traction to give you the best driving experience on your road to adventure.

Jeep tests their Trail-Rated vehicles over five different categories.

TRACTION

The Trail-Rated Badge ensures your Jeep can maintain a controlled forward motion in all types of terrain, from rocky roads to muddy trails to simple highway driving. For traction testing, the Trail-Rating process focuses on all possible road and weather conditions, ensuring a safe and confident ride.

MANEUVERABILITY

The Trail-Rating process performs grueling tests on Jeep’s optimized wheelbases, four-wheel drive, and rear-wheel steering, making sure it can navigate narrow gaps and avoid obstacles. Excellent turn radius, precision steering, and optimized wheelbases allows your Jeep to navigate difficult obstacles, veer out of the way of surprises, handle emergency situations and more.

АRTICULATION

“Articulation” refers to the flexibility of your vehicle’s suspension. In short, articulation is your vehicle’s ability to move over uneven terrain, even when all of your wheels might not be touching the ground. It helps maintain your traction no matter how rocky or uneven the ground gets. Jeeps are designed and tested to keep moving, even when only two or three wheels are touching the ground.

WATER FOLDING

Many vehicles wouldn’t dare try to traverse through any body of water. With a Trail Rated Jeep, electrical connections and body openings are sealed. The air intake is also higher up on the vehicle which makes driving through streams, rainstorm puddles, and flood-like conditions possible.

GROUND CLEARANCE

Jeep engineers also test the underside of your vehicle to make sure it can drive over obstacles without getting damaged. If you run over debris in an average car, you’ll quickly find yourself needing roadside assistance. But Jeeps with the Trail-Rating Badge are built to climb and crawl over most obstacles. Jeep tests for approach, breakover, and departure angles. With increased ground clearance, Trail-Rated Jeeps are high enough to avoid damaging their precious parts underneath. For example, the Jeep Wrangler starts out at roughly 10 inches of ground clearance

Trust Jeep for safety and comfort at all times.

Go anywhere. Do anything.

HOW TO CHOOSE A GRAIN AUGER?

For crop farming, not only the spring preparations and planting, and ensuring the summer yield is important, but the autumn harvest is, also, of utmost importance, as it is the time to reap the whole year’s results. When you’ve got two combines working in the harvest field and a semi to unload, you need a grain auger that’s efficient and easily maneuverable. There are seven key features you should look for in an auger:

  1. Drive system
What type of drive system would be suitable for your crop field? There are wide range of choices, including tractor PTO, electric motor, gas motor, and hydraulics.
  2. Unloading
Consider what kind of trucks would you be unloading. Determine if you would require a swing-away hopper.
  3. Auger application
Evaluate if augers will be used for unloading and loading trucks and bins, for loading trucks only, or solely for loading bins.
  4. Storage options
There are many storage options to choose from. Augers are made for a flat storage bin with door access, flat storage bin with unload, hopper bottom bin, and flat ground storage.
  5. Seed or pulse crops
Determine if the auger is intended for seed or for crops that need gentler handling? A conveyor belt should be considered for the gentlest handling
  6. Capacity
Do you have a preferred capacity? Auger capabilities range from low
(0 to 3,000 bushels per hour) to high (6,000 to 9,000 bushels per hour). Make sure to match your auger capacity to your bin’s grain spreader.
  7. Length
Augers can range anywhere from 7,9 to 33 meters. The auger length
can be calculated by the followingmformula: (Eve height of bin + 1/2 bin diameter) × 1.4 = Auger length.

In addition to the above key features, a feature that should never be neglected is safety. Based on the number of hours used, augers are one of the most hazardous machines on the farm. Even though shields don’t significantly affect grain feeding into the auger, the most common cause of injury is lack of shields. Prevent safety hazards by leaving all shields in place.
