CUSTOMER SERVICE ADVISOR

Main duties:

Customer support:

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in person
  • Assist customers in selecting appropriate electrical products based on technical specifications and needs.
  • Resolve customer concerns and complaints effectively and efficiently.

Order management:

  • Process quotations, orders, and invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Track and manage order statuses, ensuring customers are kept informed of progress.
  • Handle returns, exchanges, and order discrepancies in alignment with company policies.

Technical assistance: 

  • Provide basic technical support and guidance related to motors and cables.
  • Collaborate with technical teams for in-depth problem resolution or escalations as necessary.

Sales and business support:

  • Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell complementary products.
  • Support the sales team with preparation of quotes, technical documentation, and customer proposals.
  • Contribute to meeting or exceeding sales targets through proactive customer engagement.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (a technical certificate or associate degree in hydraulics, engineering, electrical systems or related fields is a plus).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service or sales, preferably in the hydraulic or industrial sector or technical field./ with a background in electrical systems or related industries./
  • Experience in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Basic understanding of hydraulic systems and their applications.

Additional information:

  • Maintain accurate and updated records of customer interactions and transactions within the CRM system.
  • Generate regular reports on service activities, customer feedback, and sales trends for internal review.
